The Wounded Warrior Benefit Concert in Allegany NY kicked off with local country music artist Brianna Blankenship. Had a chance to speak a bit to her while waiting for the show to start. Just your classic hometown girl who love’s country music and performing in for crowds. Seeing all her merch worn and people singing all the words to her music is why she does what she does. Not her first rodeo by any means, in fact soon she will be opening for Mark Chesnutt soon. Her music career has really kicked off since she started in 2018 and even was on American Idol. That’s a big step in the right direction. Has two songs that have been played on country radio- “Church and The Good Guy” and of course can be heard all over social media and media sources. Be sure to follow her as she makes her way through the ranks and makes her way to Nashville at some point.

Maggie Baugh has made another appearance to New York. She has even performed at the Benefit Concert in recent years.Started in music at such a young age and even made the leap to move to Nashville from Florida at the age of 18. Writes and produces all her own music, and has made many moves opening for many bigger artist over the last handful of years.Maggie even started playing the fiddle at the age of 8. Her interest in music has been with her for most of her life.

Her set seemed to go by so fast but she also opening for Conner Smith as well as Brianna and Eric time is limited.

Eric VanHouten is an incredibly talented musician who has captivated audiences with his soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics. Originally home was in Buffalo NY but now living in Nashville. Has a voice that can move mountains and a stage presence that commands attention, Eric delivers unforgettable performances that will leave the crowd wanting to hear more. Whether it's a lively honky-tonk tune or a heartfelt ballad, Eric's passion for music shines through in every note he sings. With his unique blend of traditional country roots and modern influences, Eric VanHouten is a rising star in the country music scene, and his genuine love for his craft is evident in every song he performs. Has been in and out of NY opening for several headliners over the years. In recent years Vanhouten was even doing some tour dates with Michael Ray. Always good to have Eric back to New York even if it’s only for a short time.

Conner Smith, a man on a mission and has been opening shows for Luke Bryan. Super talented and loves his fan of all ages. Even made the security after a short while of being on stage move the barricade closer to the stage. He says i can’t have you that far away, how can i interact if i can’t even reach to shake hands. Conner singing many covers and originals, but it didn’t really matter what he sang the crowd enjoyed every moment of it. He even included “Shake It For Me” by Luke Bryan. Smith was all over the stage and even climbed up into the bed of a dump truck that was on display near the stage. In the crowd to sing with the fans, signing hats and light up wands. Conner is one to watch as he climbs to the top. He will be right up there headlining big arena / venues in no time at all. Smith talked about how being out on the road he misses his family and girlfriend. Totally understands how people in the military feel and don’t see their family all for freedoms of the USA. He thanked all the military/ cops/teachers/ Emt’s he says without them we can’t do what we are able to.
