Beautiful venue with an awesome sound coming from the speakers, Lonestar rocked the Stanley in Utica NY. The music of Lonestar has been on the radio for as long as i can remember. These guys put on a great show, right down to the banter between the band members. Lonestar gained significant popularity in the late 1990s and early 2000s Their breakthrough came with the release of the 1999 album "Lonestar," which featured the hit single "Amazed." The song quickly climbed the charts, eventually reaching number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. And since then several new releases and awards and nominations. Songs like “I’m Already There” “My Front Porch Looking In” put these guys on the charts and winning awards.

They spoke about how beautiful the Stanley Theatre is and they have been in hundreds over the years. Utica NY has had some big names in their city over the years but i can’t seem to think of one that put on a show like Lonestar. They continue to tour and release new music, contributing to the country music scene and appealing to both longstanding fans and new listeners alike. And they have no trouble getting people up on their feet to dance and wave their arms. Concerts of this day and age wave cell phone lights in the air not lighters, and they did that as well.

The band sure did notice that parents broght along their children to the show, and joked about thats good parenting. The kids were able to go to the front and get some guitar picks. Nice to have a band that takes notice and maybe it’s something the children will remember for years to come.
