The Phoenix Phive opened the show at Kegs Canal Side in Jordan NY Friday Night 10/26/24. My first time seeing them, their setlist lasted a little longer than an hour. The band consist of 6 members and covered many different songs including some “Journey”. A great job entertaining the crowd while they waited for “The Lacs” to come out. The Phoenix Phive Band is from the Auburn area and i think their first time at Kegs.

The Lacs made a return to Kegs as they have been there before. Their heavy southern style country music is a unique style all on it’s own. It does draw a crowd a bit different than that of traditional country music style. A heavier music level with a bit of even rap mixed in. The band has actually been around for about 14 years, originated in Georgia. The band really blew up with the album “Keep It Redneck” "Country Boy's Paradise" and "Outlaw in Me," further solidified their presence in the genre.

The Lacs didn’t by any means sell the show out but they didn’t need to, they have a hell of a good time either way. Putting on the same show whether there is 5 people or 5000, not to mention they even pass around a bottle of “Jack Daniels” to keep the party going. “How can you beat a free drink” The fans danced their heart out to each and every song through the set. The style often reflects themes of rural life, partying, and down-to-earth experiences, resonating with audiences who appreciate this kind of music. The energy coming from the stage is quite high and non stop moving, they certainly don’t stand in one place.
