On February 7, 2025, Three Dog Night played to a sold out audience at The Vine, Del Lago Casino in Waterloo, NY.
Starting promptly at 8 PM, the band came out bathed in foggy blue light and played many of the hits their fans came to know over the yrs including Black and White, Shambala, Never Been to Spain, An Old Fashioned Love Song, Mama Told Me Not to Come, Eli's Coming, Prayer of the Children, and Joy To The World, to name a few. The audience was fully engaged and sang along throughout the show, which ended with a standing ovation.
The current line up for the band includes the lone original member, Danny Hutton: Vocals, Pat Bautz: Drums and vocals since 1993, David Morgan: Vocals since 2015, Howard Laravea: Keyboards since 2017, Timothy Hutton: Bass and vocals since 2021, and Paul Kingery: Vocals, guitar, and bass since 1996.
This band is very tight, the vocals were great, and the music brought back lots of memories according to some of the folks I spoke with. Great show and recommend if you can get out to see them over the next few months.
