Universal Preservation Hall located just off Broadway St in Saratoga Springs NY hosted LeAnn Rimes who put on a fatastic show. The church was on the list to be demolished with the wrecking ball on the way. They managed to raise millions of dollars to fix and save the building.Opened for events just three days prior to the shutdown of the pandemic. Back now stronger than ever, and what a beautiful building that it is.
LeAnn Rimes started music in her teen years and has even acted. Had the crowd laughing about her dancing on a bar.Shared with the fans how she was brought up with older country music in her youth and one of her favorites is “Patsy Cline” so she did a beautiful rendition of “Crazy” Her and her guitar player performed like she was with a full band. Took turns playing on the piano. She didn’t take long to say how the inside of the church where the stage is that it’s weird but she loved it. Meaning the stage is in the center of the room and if you don’t keep moving you’ll always be playing with someone staring at your back. Rimes kept herself moving around to share herself with the crowd to give everyone a chance to see her sing.
LeAnn Rimes gained fame at a young age with her debut album, "Blue," released in 1996. When Rimes started in music there was no such thing as social media and trying to gain fame through it. Gaining fame in music was pure work and you worked for what you wanted. She is known for hits such as "How Do I Live," "Can't Fight the Moonlight," and "Life Goes On." She even used time during the pandemic to write new music, check out “Spaceship”. Rimes has also battled health issues over the years and has even had cancer scares. She’s no stranger to getting Grammy Awards,Music Awards,Billboard Music, as long as i can remember LeAnn’s name has been around in music.
Rimes continues to push forward with new music and remains an influential figure in the entertainment industry, with her distinct sound and heartfelt lyrics connecting with audiences worldwide. LeAnn Rimes very thankful for everyone who came out to see her and continues to support her. Even two little sisters who shared a birthday came out to listen to one of the iconic voices in country music.
