The Lynyrd Skynyrd/ZZ Top Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour with the Outlaws performed their Southern Rock/Blues Rock before a large crowd on a warm, clear evening at the Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater on August 15, 2024.

The Outlaws with Henry Paul opened the show around 6:30 PM and performed and sounded to me as close to the original Outlaws as you can get. They opened with: There Goes Another Love Song - Hurry Sundown - Riders in the Sky (Stan Jones and his Death Valley Rangers cover) and a killer signature - Green Grass & High Tides.

ZZ Top with current bassist Elwood Francis put on a great 80 plus minute show opening with: Got Me Under Pressure - I Thank You (Sam & Dave cover) - Waitin' for the Bus - Jesus Just Left Chicago - Gimme All Your Lovin' - Pearl Necklace and more. The show ended with an Encore: Brown Sugar and Tube Snake Boogie.

Lynyrd Skynyrd came on at 9:30 PM, another fabulous show opening with Workin' for MCA followed by Skynyrd Nation - What's Your Name - That Smell - I Know a Little - Down South Jukin' - Saturday Night Special - The Ballad of Curtis Loew - Tuesday's Gone - Simple Man - Gimme Three Steps - Call Me the Breeze (J.J. Cale cover) (with ZZ Top) - Sweet Home Alabama. Encore: Free Bird

The crowd was involved and enjoyed the whole 3 band show and I highly recommend you put the Lynyrd Skynyrd/ZZ Top Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour on your list of shows to go see if in your area as this year closes out.
