Vinny Michaels opened the night with a wide variety of newer country music. He was super stoked to open for one of his favorites “Jon Langston” Vinny and his drummer played a solid 45 mins of non stop tunes including some he’s written. The crowd filled in little by little and in fact were hoping he would play at least one more song.
Jon Langston the singer songwriter and man of the hour hits the stage and the crowd starts to move forward and the level of excitement grows. Jon worked the stage through his set and about the third song in the drink pouring began.Langston loves to share Crown Royal and whatever beer he might be able to get his hands on. So if you’re in arms reach at one of Jon’s shows you could end up with a swig of his drink. Jon puts his all into his performance and leaves you happy that you went to see the show. Even performed Nickleback in a rock mash-up. Langston is poised to make a lasting impact on the country music genre, appealing to both country purists and new listeners alike. His music appeal developed early into his blood and Jon will have no issues rising to the top. He’s right where he needs to be and friends with many in the business and that helps in the industry to work off one another. Langston often incorporates themes of love, loss, and resilience, helps to connect with listeners who appreciate heartfelt lyrics and catchy melodies. The Frog Alley has had quite a few different acts come through the doors and it was a first for Jon but i bet it won’t be the last. None stop music and a pleasure to be able to see Langston come back to New York.
