An opening from (Nick Stark)Matt Quinlivan,(Steven Cali) Chad Mac & Briana Jessie and what an opening it was. The crowd certainly enjoyed our locals putting on the “kick off” show for all the “Blockheads” In fact it’s been about five years since Briana was last at kegs to sing any music and boy was she missed. Nick Stark being a staple and much like a toothache will never leave Kegs lol i mean that in a good way. Steven Cali is working on his mission to get on the road singing to larger than life stadium crowds at some point. He’s chasing what is rightfully his and that’s to make his name known to more than just locals, he will climb up the ranks in time. The owners at Kegs along with Back II Back Entertainment and 92.1 The Wolf is what makes concerts all possible. And of course all of the loyal fans that keep coming back to see one show after another.
Priscilla Block's concert at Kegs Canalside in Jordan, New York, as part of the Block Party Tour, was nothing short of spectacular. The night kicked off with an electrifying performance of "Off the Deep End," instantly igniting the crowd. As soon as Block stepped on stage, the audience erupted in excitement, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening. The energy remained high as she seamlessly transitioned into "My Bar," a fan favorite that had everyone singing along.
One of the standout moments of the night was when Block shared a personal story about a wild night out with friends. Her candid tale about getting drunk, being escorted out, and then seeing her ex with a "Walmart version" of herself had the audience laughing and connecting with her on a deeper level. This humorous anecdote was the perfect lead-in to her song "Me Pt. 2," which resonated with many in the crowd.
Block showcased her versatility by slowing things down for some of her more emotional and introspective songs. Sitting with her band, she delivered heartfelt performances that included the touching "Wish Grandpa's Never Died." The intimate setup allowed her vocals and the poignant lyrics to shine, creating a moving experience for everyone in attendance.
The concert also featured a memorable duet of "You, Me, and Whiskey" with a band member, adding a unique dynamic to the performance. Block continued to thrill her fans with hits like "Wish You Were the Whiskey" and the empowering anthem "Thick Thighs." She saved the best for last, closing the night with the absolute fan favorite "Just About Over You," which had the entire venue singing in unison and left the audience craving more.
Priscilla Block's ability to blend humor, emotion, and high-energy performances made for an exceptional night that fans will not soon forget. Her authenticity and connection with the audience turned the Block Party Tour into a true celebration of music and life experiences.
